Grant startles easily, it's like he forgets that I live here. For every fright I film there are about 10 that aren't captured. Thank you for sharing this video, I connect with you because your not selling anything & the viewers comments. I am a naturopath & I worked for one year in under the influence of a stressful Director, in a job I previously loved working with natural medicine. my intuition told me to leave but I didn’t out of fear of income. I developed emotional burnout first in November 2023 & could not go to work so I resigned, I could not think rationally & panicked & jumped into a retail job instead of resting, in March 2024 I developed shingles & adrenal fatigue has been present since, Iv invested my savings in myself & I am not working the past three months since shingles. I quit my job & will rest for another three months if needed. I sleep 10/13 hours a night. I get protein into to every meal & snack to help balance blood sugars. Ashwagandha is helping adapting the mental overthinking self induced stress & hormones, lots of fruit for vit C, i supplement with iron which helped. I eat no sugar or processed foods or alcohol or caffeine. And I feel better then I did a month ago. I say no to everyone & choose rest. Iv ordered a book from dr Lam. And also ordered a cortisol saliva test to confirm adrenal dysfunction. Gp blood test shows low protein & low iron. Gp did not mention this, I read this myself. Gp could only recommend epileptic drugs. I do find protein smoothies easy tasty & helpful, I use plan natural pea protein 20g & tsp vanilla extract with banana, oat milk, dates, tbsp cacao powder. I am learning to love myself & want to live a life of no or low induced stress. & I may begin a Naturopathic practice when I recover & help people in this modern world where every one at some point experiences adrenal insufficiency Thank you again I am very grateful to read & learn from you all

This was very helpful and inspiring so thanks very much for sharing your story. I had the same issue with my regular GP but he did at least say that I should go see a Naturopath who deals with Adrenal Fatigue. He did say that here in Canada they are not encourage to give DHEA. I did find a Naturopath and after testing all my Cortosol and hormone levels, she found that my Progesterone and my DHEA are both very, very low. Both well below the normal range. So I have just started my medicine a week ago and hopefully I can start feeling better. I will have to make some changes for sure. I am definitely a type A personality, so slowing down for me, even at age 67 will take some getting used too. I want to be healthy again. I really appreciated the mention of us saying no to others when we really need to help ourselves get better first. I am so glad you finally got well!! Thanks again for your inspiring video.

Thank you, very helpful. I have AF after COVID with very low blood pressure. After passing out I am now on Flurocortizone 4 pills daily and I am not constantly dizzy anymore. I try to walk slowly outdoors 4 times a week near ocean. I did spend 2 years on my couch after COVID and went to 4 different GPs with no success and they did not mention anything about AF. Thankfully my new male Indian GP whom my girlfriend recommended put me on this med so I have my life back but I still have to rest in arvo from 3pm onwards. I live in SWAustralia and am aged 73. Blessings for your life in NewZealand and again thanks for sharing your story on this important medical condition. ☘️👍❤️👆

I see she has a book link ... I didn't put one in my other comment . BUT the name of the book that had the info that gave me my life back is : Adrenal fatigue: the 21st century stress syndrome A book by James L Wilson -2001- chiropractor naturopathic doctor

My wife told me she didn’t have a husband for over 10 years . I had / have adrenal fatigue . ....... Adrenal fatigue: the 21st century stress syndrome A book by James L Wilson -2001- chiropractor naturopathic doctor Page 200 Minerals Magnesium: magnesium acts like a spark plug for your adrenals and for the energy portion of every cell in your body. It is essential to the production of the enzymes and the energy necessary for the adrenal hormone Cascade. several of the steps that generate energy in all of your cells, but especially in your adrenal glands, are so dependent on the presence of magnesium that it is a specific for adrenal recovery. Approximately 400 mg of magnesium citrate if the recommended daily dosage for the average person and it is absorbed best when taken at night, before bed. Magnesium Works in concert with vitamin C And pantothenic acid. (vitamin B5 ) . you may also need to do this 2 to 4 times per day or even hourly if the stress is severe. Although magnesium is absorbed better after 8 p.m., for both absorption then and at other times of the day, an acid like tomato juice or apple juice, at meals with whole grapes or meat, or with the digestive aids. Food sources of magnesium include brown rice, beans, nuts, feed and seed vegetables such as kelp (the highest source ) ( Side note: my naturopath recommends magnesium glycinate in place of magnesium citrate - Duncan Adams ) ALSO from what I found with mine - the quantity of supps recommended is too low - Wilson ( or someone using his name ) has a website selling supps .. they are not what I think he outlined in his book . IF you decide to take the protocol and it won't hurt you ..... HIGHLY Highly recommend - Vitality C supplement - I took liposomal and had VIT C IV's . Vitality C worked for me - Started helping with in days . The others didn't do sh*** . Vitality C is in a tub and sold on amazon. The guy that invented it . Used it to help beat his cancer . And from what a phone rep from their co. told me. It's designed with 4 pathways to enter the human cell. Better absorption.

NZ is totally overrated. It’s an expensive country with terrible housing issues and no infrastructure, roads are from the seventies, no bridges, no trains, public transport is embarrassing (worst than third works countries), living costs are higher than you can imagine. If you’re not coming on a very good salary don’t come to NZ. Education is a joke, literacy and numeracy are at the lowest levels of the OECD, kiwis don’t study grammar, only speak one language, and they’re totally ignorant when it comes to world history, world geography and general culture. So inwards looking their culture. Etiquette and elegance are not present in this culture, they walk barefoot into public toilets and don’t use napkins when eating, usually you can see the food in their mouths. If you’re looking for higher standards education please don’t study in NZ. There are 2 predominant cultures and kiwis hate immigrants, specially those that have other languages than English. The health system is expensive and dangerously ineffective. Social and cultural it’s boring, no arts, no performances, no culture and usually everything is closed by 6pm. People drink too much (maybe due to isolation) and become easily aggressive. The weather is nightmare, usually overcast, it’s cold, damp and the sun, when you can see it, burns like a microwave. So please do your research before moving to NZ, or take lots of antidepressants
